We are in Naples, at Margellina, Sannazzaro Square, a fulcrum between the train station and the marina; not so far from the Villa Comunale and the most populated district, Fuorigrotta.

Here, where the famous restaurant “Il Sarago” was, today they can find the pizza man Ciro Salvo and his pizzeria.
When people talk about Ciro Salvo, they can refer to him as a pizza man who “play with pizza”, because he imagine it as a daughter!
His is a very special pizza due to the long leavening to make the perfect dough.
First class choice of the ingredients.
His menù highlights the name of the pizza and its ingredients. Everything, including garlic and oregano (grown by Ciro), is think as a essential product, always delcaring the source where it comes from.
Ciro is a master at making pizza but he also doesn’t forget tradition and history of his own products: tomatoes ( San Marzano DOP), buffalo mozzarella DOP, fiordilatte, extra vergin olive oil from Don Alfonso and much more.
They have to taste the “marinara” and “l’alleanza”.
They can also count on the culinary advisor Maurizio Cortese for the best choice of beers, wines and liquors. But, of course, they also give importance to local wines.
The name of the restaurant is 50 kalò. Ciro explains that the number “50” refers to pizza dough in the “Quabalah”and the term “kalò” refers to the Ancient Greek “well done” or “good”. An old way to say everything was good.
A beautiful and spacious restaurant with 80 sits inside and 40 outside.
Finally people can taste one of the best Neapolitan pizza from Ciro Salvo.
Affordable prices.
